Read full review →This is a good sequel to the South Park episode. A relatively uninspired action buddy comedy where they just throw in that the guy is a cop and the other guy is a seal. Or are they both seals? You know...there's a lot you don't need to know in this. You don't need to watch it but you can and you won't be surprised nor disappointed.
"The Wrecking Crew" is aptly named. This action flick, for me, early on wrecked any chance that I'd actually enjoy this film. I'll put my hand up and say I'm sick and tired of the gratuitous violence oozing out of Hollywood. The light, jokey tone of this film is at odds with oftentimes really ugly violence. Entirely smashing someone's upper teeth against a table in the opening scenes is one such example. It's not funny; it's not okay, its not entertaining, no matter who it's done to.
