MovieMandala helps Hindi-speaking viewers decide what to watch in under two minutes, in theatres or on Indian OTT. Hindi originals come first, along with South Indian and Hollywood films that have a Hindi dub.

How we choose what to cover

Each week we start from the official release announcements of studios, distributors and streaming platforms. We cover every notable Hindi release and every South Indian or Hollywood release that has a confirmed Hindi version. For older films, we add titles that are easy to watch legally in India today, on a subscription, to rent or free on an official channel. We never link to unofficial copies.

How we check where a film is streaming

Checked in the app. Where we can, we open the title in the platform's Indian app or website, or its official partner listing when the platform's own pages cannot be read, and record the date. That date is shown on the page.
Reported, not yet confirmed. When only a news report says a film is on a platform, we say so plainly, link the report and keep it off our recommendations until it is checked.
Rechecked on a schedule. Every claim has a recheck date. If we miss it, the page stops naming the platform until we have looked again.
Release dates are labelled. Confirmed means the studio or platform announced it. Expected means it has been reported but could still move.

How pages are written

We use AI tools to research facts, track sources and draft pages. The founder approves every page before it is published. Facts come from sources we link at the bottom of each page, such as Wikipedia, official announcements and established Indian news outlets. "Who it suits" is guidance to help you choose, not a review; reviews come only from people who watched the film. MovieMandala is an independent site run by its founder. No studio or platform pays for a place in our picks.
