Overview
Foul-mouthed mother-from-hell Karen Matthews is fed up being a nobody, until she hatches a cunning plan for a shot at the big time. Henpecked common-law husband Craig Meehan has an unhealthy obsession with his laptop. Simple-minded uncle Michael Donovan just wants to fill the void left by his two daughters getting taken into care. Stereotypical Yorkshire copper D.I. 10.0Originally a musical from 2010, on CD only, it was probably one of lesser known albums from Kunt & The Gang and didn't even feature Künt singing on the album. Fast forward to the COVID lockdown and a drunken evening led to director Sam Hindman emailing Künt and asking why it wasn't ever staged. Told that no one would touch it, Sam resolved to correct that. In 2022, following previews in Leeds, the musical made it's way to the Edinburgh Fringe, trailing controversy behind it, but garnering rave reviews.
