9.0Just stumbled upon this movie flipping around new releases. A slow burn supernatural thriller that leans into atmosphere over cheap shocks. It's based on a Venezuelan legend like the BoogeyMan. Different than your typical genre entry. I totally forgot about Diane Guerrero from Orange Is The New Black but she's great in this. The Whistler is definitely worth a watch.
