**_Two fugitive girls’ odyssey into the sleazy underbelly of a city_** Shot in early summer, 1984, “Certain Fury” is an urban crime drama/thriller, released the next year, that combines the basic plot of “The Defiant Ones” with elements of later movies, like “Switchblade Sisters” and “The Warriors.” Relatively realistic, it has superior actors to “Switchblade Sisters” and lacks the surrealness of “Warriors,” yet it’s not as compelling as either and opts for wallowing in the seedy side of the Big City.
