5.0Dan Duryea is "Peters", and American leading a team racing to beat their Soviet counterparts to a remote "Red" Chinese village where they think there might be a flying saucer that was involved in an incident with one of their fighters. Needless to say, the Chinese are after it too and a combination of circumstances mean that when they find the thing, the rivals must team up in order to avoid capture and to get it airborne. 6.0**_Americans, Soviets and Chinese discover a flying saucer_** The opening scenes are reminiscent of Major Nelson and Roger Healey at Cape Canaveral on I Dream of Jeannie, just without the goofiness. The rest of the movie is a meshing of two films that were released before this: “The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming” and “Five Million Years to Earth,” aka “Quatermass and the Pit.” It includes the teaming up of Americans and Russians of the former, minus the amusement, and the incredible discovery of an extraterrestrial craft of the latter.
