Tony's father Sam, abducted by aliens three years earlier, returns to earth and seeks out his wife and son, but Rachel has since been living with Joe and the reunion is awkward. Joe doesn't trust Sam, and Rachel can't quite decide what her feelings are for her two men. Sam is not the same as when he left, and he begins affecting Tony in frightening ways.

This is certainly a bit of a slow burn, but once it gets it's stall set out it turns into quite a menacing little low-budget affair with some half decent visual effects, too. Unfortunately, to get to that part of the film we have to wade through some less that distinctive drama to discover the plot. It seems that ''Rachel'' (Bernice Stegers) has been bringing up her young son ''Tony'' (Simon Nash) for the past three years after ''Sam'' (Philip Sayer) did an unexpected bunk.
