6.0A mother and her two children are wandering around a city replete with construction sites. She takes them into one and then after sticking a notice to the base of one of the cranes, they proceed to ascend to the top. The notice? It declares that unless she can find somewhere affordable for them all to live, they are going to jump. On the face of it, this is a pretty savage critique of society in a wealthy, industrialised, nation that cannot house it’s own citizens.
