Distant Time (1983)

Overview

Set in the early 18th century, the film follows Andrea Selenica, a gifted painter whose independence and refusal to bow to church authority place him on a collision course with the clergy. As intrigue and betrayal close in around him, he is driven toward a tragic fate.
