This film is a philosophical "drama", in the proper theatrical sense of the term. In fact, everything, from the almost total lack of action to the long series of dialogues between the characters, lets a typically theatrical setting filter through, which even reverberates in the actors' performances, ending up giving the whole story a certain artificiality and very little adherence to that same reality to which we desperately try to make sense the whole time.
