Overview
The sins of the past are not forgotten in this chilling suspense thriller. When the first body was discovered, it seemed a coincidence. Who’s the killer and why is he targeting these particular women? Ving Rhames plays the police captain while Christian Slater is on hand as the FBI agent. “The River Murders” (2011) comes in the tradition of sordid murder thrillers like “The General’s Daughter” and “Kiss the Girls.” It’s not as commendable as the former, but it’s better than the latter IMHO.
