Charlotte Rampling, an actor I have never really been impressed with, perfectly suits her role this time as Ruth. She's hilarious, foul-mouthed, and very lovable. George Ferrier is also excellent as Sam, Ruth's grandson, who slowly starts to change for the better as he spends more time with her.
