Biography

Darbi Worley is an American actress living in London. Darbi grew up in Minneapolis, where she appeared in over 20 stage productions, playing a diverse set of roles ranging from the title role in Winnie the Pooh to Maria in West Side Story to Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace. After college, she sensibly got a day job in sales and following a few tortured months in suits and pantyhose, she not so sensibly quit that job to go sing in a rock band. During this time, Darbi worked as a session vocalist at Prince's renowned recording facility, Paisley Park Studios and appeared in a music video directed by the Purple One. Her dazzling smile and contagious energy earned her multiple commercial appearances as well as her first starring role in a film (playing a cheerleader, natch). A winding path followed, and Darbi held jobs ranging from dog handler to poop shoveler (yes, really!) to award-winning CareerBuilder.com sales rep, but eventually she found her way to Austin, Texas and back into acting. While in Austin, she completed a starring role in the independent feature, "The Krone Experiment," and voiced roles in the video games, "Starlancer" and "Conquest: Frontier Wars." Darbi was also seen in multiple commercial roles and earned her SAG card shivering in a bikini while shooting a national spot for American Airlines in December.
