Ryo Hitomi

Ryo Hitomi (瞳 リョウ, Hitomi Ryō, born September 21, 1975) is a Japanese adult video actress from Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Before entering the AV industry, she worked in beauty salons and later in nightlife venues in Kabukichō and Roppongi. She debuted in January 1996 with Atlas. Hitomi gained popularity not only through AV but also via television appearances on shows like Gilgamesh Night and Super Jockey. She published a memoir and released a music CD in collaboration with fellow actress Tomoki Tsukamoto. Her distinctive anime-like voice and expressive eyes made her a frequent choice for roles such as teachers or wives. After retiring from AV in 2001, she continued performing in stage productions and worked in beauty salons and clubs in Ginza. Though she pursued relationships with marriage in mind, her past in adult entertainment posed challenges in gaining acceptance. In 2013, she returned to AV in mature roles, portraying mothers, wives, and seasoned women, solidifying her status as a respected veteran in the genre. Her most recent appearances in adult video productions date back to 2021.
