Andrea Bagney was born in Madrid in 1986 in a half Spanish, half Polish-American family, and studied Modern History and Politics at Royal Holloway. Her first short self-produced film was shot in Qatar. Delayed by Covid, Ramona was finally shot in 2021 in a surreal, post-pandemic Madrid.
