Bruna Viola, stage name of Bruna Villas Bôas Kamphorst (Cuiabá, May 25, 1993), is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and viola player who won a Latin Grammy in 2017. Her greatest idols and references are Tião Carreiro of the duo Tião Carreiro and Pardinho and the singer Inezita Barroso. Currently, she resides in São José do Rio Preto and tours throughout Brazil, performing shows and appearing on television channels. Bruna Villas Bôas Kamphorst was born on May 25, 1993, and grew up surrounded by musicians. Because the viola is her preferred instrument, Bruna adopted the name of the instrument she plays in all her shows as her stage name.
