Mateus de Oliveira Gomes Silva, better known by his stage name Metturo, is a Brazilian-Mexican actor, singer, composer and influencer. He gained national recognition after acting in SBT soap operas such as "Corações Feridos" from 2010, but only released in 2012, and "Carrossel" from 2012-2013, which guaranteed him national popularity. The choice of the stage name was inspired by the dream of studying meteors, where the actor, as a child with diction problems, pronounced meturo instead of meteor, and thus adding another T, he became known as Metturo. Born in the municipality of Garanhuns in a humble community, he began his career at the age of 9 singing in the choir of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Garanhuns, Pernambuco.
