I have always been drawn to stories and documentaries about extreme weather, just as I have enjoyed watching documentaries or reading books about mountaineering or polar exploration. This mini-series does a credible job of mixing science, survival stories and other elements while discussing Volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes. In fact, I am more interested in tsunamis than I am earthquakes, but this show focused more on the latter so that was fine.
