Overview

During the late Ming Dynasty, a principled doctor, Liu Qian, hides Yang Zixuan, the sole survivor of a noble family targeted by the corrupt eunuch Wei Zhongxian. As assassins hunt them and a deadly plague breaks out, Liu Qian risks his life to protect Zixuan, save the people, and expose the truth.
