It is one of the most popular Lithuanian music projects, broadcast on LNK from 2007 to 2016. In the show, well-known Lithuanian performers and entertainment personalities were paired together, and every Sunday they performed live musical numbers. Each episode had a different theme, and the duets’ performances were evaluated both by a professional jury and by viewers voting by phone. The project stood out for its lavish performances, charismatic hosts, and the exciting competition for audience sympathy. “Star Duets” helped many new talents to emerge and for a long time remained one of the most anticipated Sunday entertainment shows in Lithuania.
