Gavin & Stacey is one of the best sitcoms out there in my opinion. My wife and I are always recommending it to friends and acquaintances. But it is not for everyone, apparently. I think some of the humor is too broad for some, of the themes too adult. (Not too explicit, but mature.) There are diverse and shall I even say strange characters here, but look closely and you will see that they are all part of the fun. They are not held up for ridicule or punished for being different.
