Three titles with Hindi audio started streaming on Friday 30 October 2026: the series Akka and the film Meethe Mein Kya Hai on Netflix, and the American horror film Obsession on JioHotstar.
Akka is a Hindi period gangster series from YRF and Netflix, directed by Dharmaraj Shetty, with Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Apte and Tanvi Azmi. It is set in the 1980s in a fictional kingdom ruled by women. Netflix rates it A, so it is for adults.
Meethe Mein Kya Hai is Radhika Bansal's first film as director: a light family comedy-drama set over four days of Diwali in one busy household, with Ritwik Bhowmik and Rohini Hattangadi. Its Diwali setting suits watching with family this week.
Obsession, Curry Barker's supernatural horror film, is streaming on JioHotstar's Peacock Hub in English and Hindi. This is the original uncut version. The film played in Indian cinemas in May with an A certificate and 38 seconds cut, so it is not for children.
Where to watch
Akka and Meethe Mein Kya Hai are on Netflix, included with a subscription. Obsession is on JioHotstar, in the Peacock Hub section.
