The story
As teenagers, deaf and nonverbal Baby and her twin sister stumble on a murder in an abandoned hotel, and the killer kills her sister. Baby is raised by P. M. Jain, whom she calls Papa, and he trains her as an assassin so that one day she can take revenge. Years later she carries out hits across Mumbai for Papa's clients while quietly searching for her sister's killer. Her gentle neighbour Sidhu, a struggling singer, is drawn to her, and a job for a builder named Zafar goes wrong in ways that threaten everything.

Background
Baby Do Die Do was directed by Nachiket Samant, who co-wrote it, and produced by Huma Qureshi and her brother Saqib Saleem with Pune 04 Picture. It is Qureshi's first film as a producer, and she plays the deaf and nonverbal contract killer at its centre.
The film opened in cinemas on 3 July 2026 with an A certificate from the CBFC, issued on 30 June. It earned positive reviews in outlets including The Hollywood Reporter India, Outlook and The Indian Express, but made only ₹6.91 crore at the box office, according to Bollywood Hungama. It reached Netflix about 12 weeks later and was streaming by 23 September 2026. It appeared in Netflix India's weekly film Top 10 for three weeks, peaking at No. 4.
