The story
Inspector Jatil Yadav, a small-town cop in Uttar Pradesh, is tired of his mother's constant attempts to arrange his marriage. One night he is called to a wealthy family's mansion, where the elderly patriarch Raghuveer Singh has been shot dead with his own gun on the night of his second wedding. The household is full of resentful relatives, a frightened maid and Radha, the much younger bride whom the family treats as an outsider. As Jatil digs deeper, political pressure builds to close the case quickly.
