The story
Suri, an orphan who drives an ambulance, owes ₹25 lakh to a dangerous gangster and has run out of honest ways to raise it. His desperate plan to make quick money goes sideways when he crosses paths with Divya, a young girl who believes she has made her parents vanish with a magic word. Pretending to be a magician who can bring them back, Suri takes Divya and her dog along, only to discover that her powers are very real.

Background
Don't Trouble the Trouble is Fahadh Faasil's first Telugu film as the solo lead. S. S. Rajamouli presents it, and S. S. Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni produced it under Showing Business and Arka Media Works. Shashank Yeleti directed and co-wrote it with Hamza Ali; Kaala Bhairava composed the music. It was announced in March 2024, and the teaser came out in July 2026.
The trailer launched on 22 September 2026 with voice-overs by Nandamuri Balakrishna (Telugu), Mohanlal (Malayalam) and Kamal Haasan (Tamil). Moved from 11 September, the film opened in theatres on 2 October 2026 in Telugu with Tamil and Malayalam dubs. The Hindu found it an easy watch for children and adults, though uneven, and The Times of India gave it 3 out of 5. It began streaming on Netflix on 30 October 2026, adding Hindi and Kannada audio.
