The story
Aju, Bibi and Shanthan arrive in Bengaluru from Kerala to study engineering and are soon abducted and beaten by a gang of senior students. Bent on revenge, they trawl the city's bars looking for muscle and find Ranga, a flamboyant Malayali-Kannadiga gangster in all-white clothes, along with his loyal henchman Ambaan. Ranga takes a protective liking to the boys and draws them into his world of fights and parties, even as he urges them to focus on their studies.

Who it suits
Good for viewers who enjoy offbeat gangster comedy anchored by a larger-than-life lead performance. The U/A rating covers plenty of fist-fights, heavy drinking and partying, and the film runs close to 160 minutes.
