The story
Victor, the blind younger brother of Marco, witnesses the murder of his close friend Wasim and identifies the killer by the scent of his perfume and the sound of his car. The trail leads to the Isaac family, a gold-smuggling syndicate led by Tony Isaac, and puts them on a collision course with Victor's family, the powerful Adattu clan. When the violence reaches his own home, Marco sets out for revenge against the Isaacs and their allies, including Tony's sons Russell and Cyrus.

Who it suits
Made strictly for adults who can handle extreme on-screen brutality: it is rated A, the CBFC blocked its TV premiere over graphic violence, and it includes violence against women and children. Fans of stylised revenge action in the vein of KGF will find its 145-minute run relentless.

Background
Marco is the second film in Haneef Adeni's Mikhael Extended Universe, a standalone spin-off of Mikhael (2019), in which Unni Mukundan first played Marco as the main villain. Shareef Muhammed produced it under Cubes Entertainments, and Ravi Basrur of KGF composed the music.
It opened on 20 December 2024 in Malayalam, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. It crossed ₹100 crore worldwide and became the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film. By 3 January 2025 the Hindi version had netted about ₹5 crore, which made it the highest-grossing Malayalam film dubbed into Hindi at the time. SonyLIV began streaming the South Indian versions on 14 February 2025, while the Hindi version streams separately on Prime Video. The CBFC later blocked a TV premiere over its graphic violence. A sequel was announced and then reportedly shelved, and in September 2025 the producers registered the title Lord Marco for a prequel.
