Each episode centres on a new wedding, and behind the flowers, music and money the planners keep running into dowry demands, family pressure, hidden affairs and old-fashioned prejudice. Tara has married into a rich business family and is struggling with her marriage to Adil. Karan keeps his own sexuality hidden while trying to keep the business afloat.
