The story
In 2005, American teenager Natalee Holloway vanished on a school graduation trip to Aruba, and her remains have never been found. In this series her mother, Beth Holloway, tells the full story of the case and her long search for answers, joined by Natalee's friends, the family's lawyer, Aruban investigators, journalists and retired FBI agents, with footage that has not been made public before.

Background
Taken: Natalee Holloway was directed by Dani Sloane and Matthew Galkin and produced by Story Syndicate. It revisits the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway in Aruba in May 2005, a case that drew worldwide coverage for years. Beth Holloway tells the story with access to investigators, and Natalee's friends Madison Greer and Claire Fierman also appear. The series includes footage from a 2010 FBI operation targeting Joran van der Sloot, the case's main suspect, which Netflix says had never been released publicly.
All three episodes premiered on Netflix on 4 November 2026. Netflix's follow-up article notes that Beth Holloway is pursuing a murder complaint in the Netherlands and that van der Sloot has not been charged over Natalee's death. Netflix India offers Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs.
