The story
In 1980s Secunderabad, a marginalised tribal community lives in a slum under the thumb of a greedy landlord. Jadal, a rebel just back from prison, reluctantly becomes the face of their fight for citizenship and dignity. Standing in his way is Vikram, the landlord's son and Jadal's childhood rival, who is chasing political power and is ready to use violence to get it.

Who it suits
For adults who like large-scale, blood-soaked mass action dramas; it carries an A certificate for strong violence and runs nearly three hours. Not one for children or for viewers who dislike graphic fight scenes.

Background
The Paradise is Nani's second film with director Srikanth Odela after Dasara, produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri's SLV Cinemas with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Announced in March 2024 as Nani 33, it was shot from June 2025, largely on huge built sets in Hyderabad, on a reported budget of ₹150–200 crore, Nani's most expensive film.
After moves from March and August, it opened in cinemas on 24 September 2026 with an A certificate. Wikipedia records an opening-day global gross of ₹76.9 crore, Nani's biggest opening, but reviews were mixed to negative, with criticism of the screenplay, length and violence. Netflix began streaming it on 22 October 2026, in Telugu with dubbed Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam audio.
The film is not connected to the British period drama The Paradise or other titles called Paradise.
