Background
Blade Runner 2099 is a sequel series to Blade Runner (1982) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017), based on Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. Silka Luisa created it and is showrunner; Ridley Scott is an executive producer. Amazon ordered it as a limited series in September 2022. The 2023 writers' strike moved production from Belfast to Prague, where filming ran from June to December 2024. Michelle Yeoh plays Olwen and Hunter Schafer plays Cora.
Amazon announced the premiere date and first teaser at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026, and a new trailer came at New York Comic Con on 10 October. All eight episodes release on 25 November 2026 in more than 240 countries. Prime Video's India page lists Hindi audio (marked coming soon, no date shown).
