Background
Dune: Part Three concludes Denis Villeneuve's trilogy and adapts Frank Herbert's novel Dune Messiah. Villeneuve wrote it with Brian K. Vaughan. Legendary Pictures produces and Warner Bros. distributes, with music again by Hans Zimmer. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Rebecca Ferguson return, joined by Robert Pattinson and Anya Taylor-Joy. Filming ran from July to November 2025 in Budapest and Abu Dhabi, partly with IMAX cameras.
Warner Bros. set 18 December 2026 in June 2024. Warner Bros. India's Hindi teaser and trailer confirm the same date for India, in English and Hindi, and in IMAX. Variety India reported in March 2026 that the film is expected to take India's IMAX screens on opening day, ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. No streaming partner has been announced.
