The story
Businessman Ramkishan and his wife Mamta raise four children: Vivek, Ramkishan's son from his late first wife, whose arm was partly paralysed saving his younger brothers as a boy; the soft-spoken Prem; the playful Vinod; and their married sister Sangeeta. The siblings are devoted to each other and to their parents. As Prem returns from studying abroad and the three brothers find partners, weddings and celebrations fill the house, while some outsiders quietly stoke Mamta's worries about who will control the family business.
