The story
Guru, a radio host, is drowning in debts left behind by his family and is trying to keep his late mother's library going. Desperate for quick money, he slips into the world of backroom gambling dens, where he stumbles on a key to a gangster's hidden fortune. Suddenly hunted by a powerful kingpin and his men, Guru decides to fight back instead of running, and recruits a crew of misfits for a heist of his own.

Aimed at viewers who like breezy heist capers with comedy and action, in the vein of mass Tamil entertainers. Netflix rates it U/A 16+; there is gangster violence, and it runs close to two and a half hours.

Background
Sigma is the directing debut of Jason Sanjay, son of actor-politician Vijay, who also wrote it. Lyca Productions announced the project in August 2023 and named Sundeep Kishan as the lead in November 2024; the title came in November 2025. Faria Abdullah plays RJ Sam, with Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj and Shiv Panditt in supporting roles, and Thaman S composed the music. Lyca said 95% of the film was shot in 65 days, and filming wrapped in December 2025.
First set for 31 July 2026, it moved to avoid Jana Nayagan and opened in theatres on 2 October 2026. Reviews were mixed, praising Sundeep's performance and production values but faulting a predictable script, and Wikipedia puts its worldwide gross at about ₹13 crore. It began streaming on Netflix on 30 October 2026 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
