The story
Inspired by the life of Hetal Dave, the film follows a girl from a middle-class, conservative Mumbai family who is judged for her weight and discovers sumo wrestling by chance. Against the expectations of those around her, she heads to Japan for hard training. Shriyam Bhagnani plays Hetal.

Background
Hetal Dave, a wrestler from Mumbai, entered the Limca Book of Records in 2008. She reached the global top eight at her first international championship in Estonia that year. At the 2009 World Games in Taiwan she was reportedly the only female athlete from India, competing in sumo.
Shriyam Bhagnani plays Dave in the film, which was shot partly in Japan and Kolkata. Jio Studios presents it, with Fresh Lime Films and Myth Entertainment Networks producing. It premieres on ZEE5 on 23 October 2026.
