This list gathers Hindi films drawn from real lives and real events: sports biopics, military and espionage stories, and dramas built around hijackings, criminal cases and historical periods. Each note says plainly what the film is based on and, where our title pages record it, how far it departs from the record or whether its portrayal has been disputed.
Every pick has a Hindi audio track and was checked on the platform's Indian app or website; the check date is on each title page. Picks are grouped by subject and, within each group, ranked by how closely the film sticks to a documented person or event and how widely it suits viewers. Remember that these are dramatisations, not documentaries, so dialogue, characters and timelines are often changed.
On certificates: U suits all ages, U/A and U/A 16+ call for parental guidance, and A is for adults only.
