The story
The makers have not released a synopsis. Maddock Films introduced Aneet Padda's character as the 'Mother of MHCU' in a teaser attached to Thamma, placing the film inside the same horror-comedy universe as Stree, Bhediya, Munjya and Thamma.

Background
Shakti Shalini is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (Munjya, Thamma). It was on Maddock's January 2025 slate for 31 December 2025. In October 2025 a teaser attached to Thamma revealed Aneet Padda (Saiyaara) as the lead and moved the film to 24 December 2026. Viineet Kumar Siingh and Vishal Jethwa were later added to the cast; a reported double role for Padda was called inaccurate by Sarpotdar.
The date is uncertain. Outlook (April 2026) and Sacnilk (8 October 2026) reported the film may move to early 2027 to avoid Shah Rukh Khan's King on the same day, though Vishal Jethwa did not confirm any change. NewsBytes said a promo shown with Prahaar in October repeated 24 December. Maddock has made no announcement either way.
