Hindi films and Hindi-dubbed hits to stream on JioHotstar in India, with which listing to pick, certificate, runtime and content notes for each.
Published Sun, 18 Oct, 2026 · Reviewed by Movie Mandala, Sun, 18 Oct, 2026

This list covers films you can stream in Hindi on a JioHotstar subscription in India: Hindi originals first, then South Indian hits in their official Hindi versions, then Hollywood films with a Hindi track. Series are left out, and so are titles whose JioHotstar listing we have only seen reported and not yet confirmed.
Every pick has a Hindi audio track and was checked against JioHotstar's Indian catalogue, on its app or site or through its listing on Airtel Xstream Play; the check date is on each title page. Where JioHotstar uses a different name or a separate Hindi listing, the pick says which one to choose.
Picks are ranked by how well they suit someone opening JioHotstar and wanting a reliable Hindi watch, so broad crowd-pleasers sit above narrower tastes within each section.
On certificates: U suits all ages, U/A and U/A 13+ call for parental guidance, and A is for adults only.

Badhaai Ho
JioHotstarCBFC U/A125 min
The easiest crowd-pleaser in JioHotstar's Hindi library: a Delhi family comedy about parents expecting a baby when their sons are already grown. Rated U/A and 125 minutes long, it suits a mixed-age family evening, with humour that stays frank rather than crude. Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao lead, and Surekha Sikri's grandmother won her a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior
JioHotstar (listed as Tanhaji)CBFC U/A134 min
For a Hindi period war film on JioHotstar, this retelling of Tanaji Malusare's 1670 fight to retake Kondhana fort is the obvious choice. Ajay Devgn leads and Saif Ali Khan plays the Mughal general Udaybhan. It is U/A, runs 134 minutes and has a lot of sword combat with some brutal moments. Treat it as dramatised history, since critics say it takes liberties.

A short Hindi war film set at the Bhuj airbase in 1971, built around the real effort by women from Madhapar village to rebuild a bombed runway. Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt lead.
